JOAN ESCHENBACH DRAKULIC
STOKESDALE Mrs. Joan Eschenbach Drakulic, 53, died Thursday, May 30, 2002, at her home.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 4, 2002, at Community Lutheran Church, located at 4960 Highway 220 North in Summerfield.
A native of Baltimore, Md., Mrs. Drakulic was born on Jan. 26, 1949, the daughter of Harvey William and Margaret Spence Eschenbach. She was a member of Community Lutheran Church, was employed as a telecommunications analyst by ITS.ON Corp., and served as chairperson of the N.C.T.A.
Surviving are her husband, George Drakulic of the home; daughters,Dawn Sanders and Jennifer Sanders, both of Greensboro; sisters, Barbara Sponer of Sykesville, Md. and Marjorie Lilly of Greensboro; and two grandchildren, Katie Sanders and Zachary Sanders.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, June 3, 2002, at Brooke Funeral Home, 8320 Highway 158, Stokesdale.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be directed to the American Cancer Society, 4-A Oak Branch Drive,Greensboro, N.C. 27407; or the Community Lutheran Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 1030, Summerfield, N.C. 27358.
